Chef’s Competition Registration

Registration Information

  1. Each Chef is allowed a Sous Chef/Assistant on the day of the event
  2. Each Chef will be allowed to bring 3 of their own ingredients (ie. Herbs, Garnishes, Infused Oils, Vegetables, Spices, etc.)
  3. There will be no power or electricity, therefore chefs are permitted to bring: Butane/Click Burners, Cutting Boards, Knives, Bowls, Tongs, Spoons, etc.
  4. Each Chef will be provided a large pantry of other ingredients
  5. Each Chef will have 30 Minutes to prepare an Appetizer and 45 Minutes to complete their Entree and get it to the judges (Four plates total per meal)
  6. Each Chef will have Two 8 foot tables, a bus pan, trash can & compost bin, they will also have a volunteer that will help in the busing and running of food
  7. There will be a Secret Ingredient for each round
  • Only ONE Chef from a restaurant will be chosen, but multiple may enter. The CRA Board of Directors will vote on the Top 9 Competitors, there will be one PRO-Start Competitor competing as well.
  • Please give a brief 3-5 sentence Bio in which you let us know about your background, and how long you have been in the industry, also if you have competed in other Chef's competitions we would love to know about those.

2018 Food, Wine & Beer Expo

Craft Cocktail Competition Registration

Registration Information

  1. Each Bartender will have to complete two different cocktails; one dark spirit and one light spirit (Spirits will be unknown until the event)
  2. There will be a Secret Ingredient for each round
  3. Each Bartender will need to make a total of 4 cocktails per each Spirit; 1 for each of the 3 judges and 1 for pictures
  4. Each Bartender will be permitted to bring stickers, napkins, etc. for cocktail pictures
  5. Each Bartender will be allowed to bring 3 of their own ingredients (ie. Bitters, shrubs, nectar’s, garnishments, etc.)
  6. Each Bartender will need to bring their own ice
  7. Each Bartender will need to bring their own glasses (4 cocktails per round – 2 rounds)
  8. There will be no power or electricity
  9. Each Bartender will have 10 minutes each round to complete their cocktails (staggered times)

Competitors will be decided on March 15, 2018, please look for the email/phone call to let you know that you have been chosen as a competitor!
